Hennessy VSOP is a blend of 60 different ‘eaux-de-vie’ aged up to 15 years and noted for its balance and sophistication. Created in 1817 for the future King George IV of England, by the end of the 19th century VSOP had firmly established its reputation among the nobility.Taste: On the nose, the first fragrances perceived are sweet spices such as vanilla, clove and cinnamon. Then, delicate toasted notes follow, arising from the maturation in oak barrels. On the palate, the natural balance of strength and smoothness creates a harmonious blend in which maturity combines with vigor. The structure is softened by a suggestion of a fresh grape character, and there is a long-lasting finish on the palate.
